The current tool supports a single UK unquoted company or LLP reporting UK activity under operational control, using supported energy and transport categories.

Quoted companies, consolidated groups, overseas operations and specialist energy sources need additional preparation. The wizard checks the supported scope before you generate a report.

Your report is prepared for review. Approval and inclusion in the appropriate annual report remain your responsibility; generating a PDF does not file it with Companies House.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

A few useful things to know.

What should I have ready?

Your company details, reporting dates, energy bills, fuel records and relevant business mileage. You’ll also need an intensity measure such as revenue or staff count, details of energy-efficiency actions, and prior-period figures where applicable.

Can I save a report and finish it later?

Yes. The reporting form saves drafts to your workspace. You can return to your draft, complete missing details and review the calculations before generating a PDF.

Can I use my company’s logo?

Yes. Upload your company logo in Business Details. New reports use it at the top of the PDF; previously saved PDFs stay unchanged.

Does generating a report submit it to Companies House?

No. Carbonalysis prepares a document for review and incorporation into your annual reporting. You remain responsible for checking the disclosure, obtaining the appropriate approval and signature, and completing your filing.
